A beauty isn’t she? If you’re thinking “wait a second, I didn’t know you guys did systems like these,” you’d be right. We don’t do systems like these, but that doesn’t mean we don’t know how!
A long-standing local customer of ours brought in his existing wall-mounted workstation that we built a few years ago and asked us if we could transfer his core components to a case with more radiator capacity so we can make it even quieter.
The main use case was complex architectural work in front of his clients using an HTC Vive Pro VR headset. Thus, we knew that the system would go full bore for hours and good cooling and quietness was of the essence. Our customer also wanted to have some eye candy for his clients so the decision was made to go full custom hardline.
We decided to use the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL case with front-mounted EKWB distribution plate and red transparent ultra-pure ModMyMods Mod Water. We then incorporated the existing Intel i9-9900K (oveclocked to an all-core 5.0 GHz), 128 GB G.Skill DDR4 3200 memory, Intel 905P NVMe SSD, and RTX 2080 Ti (overclocked to 2025 MHz), all on top of an ASUS Z370-WS Pro Motherboard. We think it turned out spectacularly (see images below).
